failed to read artifact descriptor for org springframework batch

0

I've looked everywhere to try to resolve my dependency issue for Spring Batch but to no avail... Only when I use "mvn install:install-file -Dfile........." to manually import the file does it dissolve the error. But it also increase the risk of version incompatibility with each other.

I've followed this source to try to allow Intellij to automatically download/import the dependencies into my library but nothing works: Failed to Read Artifact Descriptor: IntelliJ

Is there anyway else to allow that (like adding a plugin into the pom.xml (?))? Or is there something I've missed T.T please advice!!

    <dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-boot-starter-batch</artifactId>
</dependency>>

  • Please share your entire pom.xml (but with minimal info to reproduce the issue as mentioned in stackoverflow.com/help/mcve) to be able to help you.
