how to solve the error 'CommandError: Can't find msguniq. Make sure you have GNU gettext tools 0.15 or newer...

0

I'm trying to set up Internationalization in my project in Django. But when doing the command:

python manage.gy makemessages 'en'

This error occurs:

CommandError: Can't find msguniq. Make sure you have GNU gettext tools 0.15 or newer installed.

However, when I try the brew install gettext command it has the following response:

Warning: gettext 0.19.8.1 is already installed and up-to-date

I've read several posts in stackoverflow about this, but none of them solved my problem.

  • Did you try the answers at stackoverflow.com/questions/50855974/…? What happens for msguniq --version in the same terminal?
