How to fill 1000 Path at run time in WPF?

0

I have a wpf application where I am trying to simulate wave of colors to my paths.

to simulate this, I am filling all paths after every 30 ms. Problem is CPU usage becomes too high close to 30%.

this is my code.

foreach (var color in colors)
{
var path = UserControl.Children.OfType<Path>().FirstOrDefault(c => Convert.ToBoolean(c.GetValue(Path.ID)) == color.ID);
if (path == null)
{
continue;
}
SolidColorBrush mySolidColorBrush = new SolidColorBrush();
mySolidColorBrush.Color = Color.FromArgb(color.Alpha, color.Red, color.Green, color.Blue);
path.Fill = mySolidColorBrush;
}

I have list of colors with id. This list can have 1000 colors for 1000 paths. I am trying to get path for particular id and then fill the path with respected color.

Could someone suggest a better way to do this?
