Issues With Installing Remix [Python 3.6.7]

0

I am currently having issues when installing the module remix. I have this error:

Complete output from command python setup.py egg_info:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<string>", line 1, in <module>
File "C:UserskimmaAppDataLocalTemppip-install-gofz7p57remixsetup.py", line 170
os.chmod(os.path.join(data_path, 'en-ffmpeg'), 0755)
^
SyntaxError: invalid token

Command "python setup.py egg_info" failed with error code 1 in C:UserskimmaAppDataLocalTemppip-install-gofz7p57remix

I've looked around on the remix website, and used the installer to install it but I run into issues since it says that I don't have python 2.7 installed.

I don't know if I need to uninstall my current version 3.6.7 (needed for the project I am working on) to download 2.7 because I tried to do that but I ended up not having pip and more issues when I solely had Python 2.7.

I tried to look around online to find the issue, but I don't see anyone with this problem; I found a similar link here.

I tried to install and update setuptools, and update module ez_setup. So then I ran into another issue when I did this:

easy_install -U setuptools

the error was :

error: [WinError 5] Access is denied: 'c:userskimmaappdatalocalprogramspythonpython36-32Scriptseasy_install.exe'

So I know this post is a lot, but I was wondering what can be the issue when installing the module remix.
