C# Open a file from an exe

0

Hello i have an exe which should open a file inorder to launch a different application. I have done the following:

Process proc = new Process();
proc.StartInfo = new ProcessStartInfo(filepath);
proc.Start();

This code works perfectly fine in my machine but not in my colleagues machine where he gets an exception:

Unhandled exception: System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: An error occurred while sending the command to the application System.Diagnostics.Process.Start (ProcessStartInfo startInfo)

Any other way to open the file or what would be the reason for such an error? Can anybody suggest! Thanks!
