You can tryto configure https://mbs.microsoft.com/customersource/northamerica/Connector/support/support-news/MSDY_ConnectorforMicrosoftDynamics but from my experience this tools almost never works as you expect and as it should expect. The moest flexible solution is to write you own application doing data sync by web services.

For your integration Dynamics CRM and Dynamics AX, you can use, below download link

                https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=10381

I used this connector in my project, when order is submit will sync with AX and AX send back invoice status, and work flow will create invoice in MSCRM as well.

                Thanks

It's depend witch integration do you need. We use SSIS for Big data migration or D-1 migration https://www.kingswaysoft.com/products/ssis-integration-toolkit-for-microsoft-dynamics-365. This solution is working for Online and OnPremise.
For real time integration you can use MSMQ integration (OnPremise no sandbox plugin) or Azure service bus for (Online)
