How to download dependant solution from TFS using vsts

0

I am using Roslyn to load a solution which is located on my hard drive like this:

Solution solution = workspace.OpenSolutionAsync(Solution).Result;

The solution is referencing three other projects. One of the projects is located in a different parent folder because it is being reused by other solutions.

The problem is if this project is missing from the hard drive workspace.OpenSolutionAsync will fail to load properly and only one project is located under solution.Projects.

The thing is I am actually downloading my solution from TFS as a zip file based on a buildID. Next, I extract the zip file on my hard drive and try to load it with Roslyn. Unfortunately, the project that is located elsewhere is not part of the zip file.

Is it possible to manually download the solution from TFS.

Shouldn´t the project have the same buildId as the solution that is referencing it?
