currently I have a project in Java and it is about a server listening more than one clients on the network and sending messages each other to keep them up. I know I need to use threads but I am not able to keep them working long enough. Can you tell me what may be the problem and also give an example code? Thank you

This follows a simple pattern. A thread listens for incoming connections. When a new connection arrives, a new thread is created to handle the conversation. This thread keeps reading/writing to the client until the client is done, or the connection is otherwise terminated (like on error).
