Panda3D transparent background rendering
I'm using Python and Panda3D to build some kind of AR demo like facerig.
So far, I find merging the picture(or buffer) from Panda3D and the picture from Webcam is kind of tricky. I have this in mind:
Rendering 3D models in Panda3D and read webcam via OpenCV. The difficulty is, I haven't found any way to make the background in Panda3D to be transparent. So I can't merge the two pictures. I know some algorithms in OpenCV (like erosion) can split the Actor from the background if I render the scene to a 2D picture. But doing all this just in Panda3D will be the best. So, any ideas?
