Right now I have 0.20.6.
With
sh-3.2# truffle version
Truffle v4.1.14 (core: 4.1.14)
Solidity v0.4.24 (solc-js)
When doing
truffle console
truffle(develop)> web3.version
{ api: '0.20.6',
node: [Getter],
getNode: { [Function: get] request: [Function: bound ] },
network: [Getter],
getNetwork: { [Function: get] request: [Function: bound ] },
ethereum: [Getter],
getEthereum: { [Function: get] request: [Function: bound ] },
whisper: [Getter],
getWhisper: { [Function: get] request: [Function: bound ] } }
truffle(develop)>
Because the openzeppelin 1.0 is using web3 1.0.
I tried npm install truffle@5 beta something i get web3 1.0. Which is a good thing. But when I tried to migrate its causing error that I must use solidity 4.24 compiler. because truffle 5 contains sol 4.25.
solidity migrate web3js truffle
