Putting same HTTP parameter both in URL and body
I'm writing a client mock implementation for HTTP requests and thought abought the following corner case for which I don't have a definitive answer:
What should happen in case a query parameter is both present in the URL and encoded in the body (say for a POST request).
Should the URL take precedence, the body take precedence or should both be merged into an array?
Example:
POST https://someserver/somepath?foo=1
Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded
Content-Length: 5
foo=2
Result after parsing:
- foo=1
- foo=2
- foo=[1,2]
