Execute Javascript callback from WKWebView

0

I need to execute a javascript callback function every time a new URL is loaded in WKWebview. The following is the JavaScript function:

networkRequestCallback: function(callback) {
exec(callback, null, 'IonicWebView', 'networkRequestCallback', );
}

Now, I did know the place to trigger it in WKWebview, which is in webView:decidePolicyForNavigationAction:decisionHandler: but I am not sure what code to execute the above JavaScript.

So for I came up with these 2 (not sure if its the right way):

1.

NSString *exec_template = @"networkRequestCallback("received: %@");";
NSString *exec = [NSString stringWithFormat:exec_template, version];
[_webView evaluateJavaScript:exec completionHandler:nil];

2.

JSContext *tmpContext =  [webView valueForKeyPath:@"documentView.webView.mainFrame.javaScriptContext"];
[tmpContext[@"networkRequestCallback"] callWithArguments:@[@urlPath]];

I do know if the JavaScript function is not a callback type (e.g. func myFunction() {}), 1. can be used, but is it possible for function with callback handler?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
