How can i add characters from /dev/ttyS0 to application stdin using bash?
My poblem is quite simple but i can't find solution nor answer on forums.
I have console application which gets data from keyboard. I need to connect barcode reader (connected via /dev/ttyS0), and pass read characters to my application's stdin but i need also keep keyboard functionality.
In other words, user will enter data thru keyboard and when he need it he could take barcode reader and scan some data, which application should see as keyboard input.
I know how to get data from reader, format it and store in bash variable. I have no idea how to inject this data (ascii string) to application's stdin adding them to "normal" keyboard stream. :(
