Handling refresh in GridView when using a stream a source?
I'm implementing a GridView in flutter du display some data. My architecture is based on BLoCs meaning I'm listening to streams for rendering.
To support PullToRefresh I'm currently implemention RefreshIndicator as a wrapper of the gridview. for onRefresh I've made a method where a value is added to the sink of the bloc. And now the part where I'm struggling :)
I'm currently returning Future in the onRefresh, but this just completes the refreshindicator icons right away, and not when I get data back from the stream.
So how can I best handle this flow using bloc and streams?
// update
I've added a Completer to my onRefresh and returning its Future. Then when I receive data on the stream I call Complete of the completer if it's done loading. Seems to work okay, but still open for feedback :)
