How not to print words that contain the user entered alphabets?

I have a word list in file words.txt. I want to print only those words from the file that doesn't contain that word..output here works fine..but if i want to add more than one word like : 'e','b'..then how can i do so..becoz whenever i enter a single alphabet input like 'e'..then output is perfectly fine..but for more than one alphabet, it prints the entire actual list..any suggestions??

fin= open('C:\words.txt')
read=fin.readline()
word=read.strip()
index=0
letter =input('What letters to exclude? ')
while read:
while index<len(word):
if word[index]==letter:
break
index=index+1
else:
print(word)
read=fin.readline()
word=read.strip()
