Detect when mapbox map has finished loading new tiles
I have a Mapbox map to which I am adding a 3rd party vector tile source:
map.addSource(VectorSource(name, url))
I need to know when the map has finished loading the visible tiles for that source. I have a listener for map changed events:
map.addOnMapChangedListener {
when (it) {
MapView.DID_FAIL_LOADING_MAP, MapView.DID_FINISH_RENDERING_MAP_FULLY_RENDERED -> setBusy(false)
MapView.WILL_START_RENDERING_MAP -> setBusy(true)
}
}
But these fire only when the base style starts and finishes loading, not when the additional tile source is added. I don't see any other events I can listen on. Is there any way of achieving this?
