Uiautomator - cannot use UiObject2

I'm trying to create a new UiObject2 in UiAutomator but I receive the following message:



'UiObject2(android.support.test.uiautomator.UiDevice, android.support.test.uiautomator.BySelector, android.view.accessibility.AccessibilityNodeInfo)' is not public in 'android.support.test.uiautomator.UiObject2'. Cannot be accessed from outside package



Does anyone know how to fix this?

          5 Not asking because the hidden city ticketing. I have an upcoming flight from Shanghai -> Seattle -> Vancouver. However, I couldn't find my Canadian PR card. So in order for me to get back to Canada without applying for PRTD (permanent resident travel document) which takes a long time as well, I might need to rent a car from Seattle and drive back to Vancouver.
